You can find this September monthly printable at www.asceticlifeofmotherhood.com/store/septhrudec Baked Apples of Paradise for the feast of St Euphrosynos! 3 TBSP unsalted butter, softened 1/4 C packed brown sugar 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/8 tsp nutmeg 1/4 C old-fashioned rolled oats 3 large apples 1. Preheat oven to 375°F 2. Mash the butter, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg together until combined. Stir in the oats. 3. Core the apple with a sharp knife of apple corer about 3/4 down and scoop out a little and be sure the seeds are removed. 4. Place cored apples in a pie dish. Spoon filling into each apple, filling all the way to the top. Pour warm water into the dish around the apples. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until apples appear slightly soft. Serve warm with ice cream!
