Patristic Nectar Publications is pleased to present a new three-lecture series by Father Josiah Trenham entitled War and Peace: An Orthodox Perspective on Violence. This series presents peace as the normative Christian ethos, the very expression of the Kingdom of God in the life of the individual, family, church, and nation. It also surveys the Church's teaching on war and the use of force, with particular emphasis on the witness of the soldier saints as a model of the Christian use of force.
